We leave Siwa Oasis this morning and drive back to the coast to Marsa Matrouh. This interesting seaport is home to a large Libyan/Berber population, and the town has a unique feel to it. There is time for a dip in the Mediterranean before taking a stroll around the colorful markets including the Libyan souk. In the afternoon we continue on to Alexandria, where the evening is free to enjoy this historically important city.
